Kapok is a 100% organic and natural fiber harvested from the kapok tree's seed pods. No trees or ducks/geese are harmed in this process and the kapok tree regularly bears fruit, which means that it is naturally renewable. Another big win for the planet is that no pesticides or herbicides are used in this process. 

We use Kapok fibers as fillers in our mattress toppers. Kapok is hypoallergenic and naturally repels dust mites, which is a big relief to many people, but perhaps the biggest advantage of our mattress toppers is their ability to provide warmth during cooler nights and a ventilating effect during warmer temperatures. Kapok fibers are naturally water-resistant and and consists of 80% air, which gives it its thermal insulation and ventilating abilities.
